Little Harriet was born into slavery on a plantation in Maryland, USA. Though life had many obstacles, Harriet persisted in her dream to be free of the shackles of slavery. She used all of her resilience and courage to escape capture, journeying north on the Underground Railroad.

Despite the danger of the journey, Harriet made it her mission to return to the South many times, fighting her whole life to help others on the same path to freedom. This board book introduces babies and toddlers to the inspiring life of Harriet Tubman, the abolitionist and Underground Railroad conductor.
